KB COVID-19 INITIATIVE  (2022)

KB Lesotho has implemented an Upscale demand for COVID-19 Vaccination for 2022 through the support of PEPFAR and USAID, under the direction of Baylor Lesotho. This initiative has been applied in 4 Districts of Lesotho (Maseru, Berea, Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek.

KB project will implement the following activities with the support of its consortium members: LENEPWHA, Catholic Relief Services, Care for Basotho, WLSA, CIL, SWAALES, LIRAC, and ENCOMPASS. Key activities will include:

1.   Operational Costs to support transportation for       RCCE outreach

2. Printing of IEC materials for RCCE

3.  Conduct initial and refresher training for community-   based staff on IPC protocol

COVID -19 Pandemic

As the whole world is faced with COVID-19 pandemic, Lesotho is also affected by COVID-19. In the early stages of COVID-19 and before any restrictions, Karabo ea Bophelo embarked on COVID-19 and Water and Sanitation messaging, helping beneficiaries to create Tippy Taps and key hole gardens for food sustainability.
